Well I finally did something with that extra set of tail lights I had.  I tinted the top half black with Night Shades tint and then clear coat over that.  I was going for the Jetta GLX look which is very difficult to do since you are dealing with an amber base.  I didn't want to go too dark as to draw the attention of Johnny Law.

On Brian's car we tinted the whole tail light black.  It matched the car extremely well.

No I do not have a desert in my backyard ;-)  This pic was taken on the Scirocco April fools cruise near Gorge WA.  and yes that is a Audi TT in the background, what a sweet car!
